A Happy Christmas and New Year

Saturday, December 25, 2010

Did Santa treat everyone well?  I certainly must've been a good girl this year because I got wonderful gifts. My husband got me a remote start kit for my car, which I am in love with! Before we got married, the house I owned had a two car garage, so I was spoiled with not having to clean snow and ice off my car in the morning. But now, we have a one car garage, and he keeps his classic car in there, so we both park our cars outside.  I can't tell you how excited I am to be able to let my car defrost a little before going out and scraping each morning! :-)

My parents got me a DSLR camera!! Looks like the pictures on this blog will be taking a step up! Well, hopefully anyways, I'll have to figure out how to work it, ha!  They didn't pick one out, since they didn't know exactly what I wanted, so it looks like I get to do some shopping this week!

How about you? What was your favorite gift that you received this year?

Or better yet, what was your favorite gift to give this year?  I was most excited to give away the homemade calendars that I made {they were a big hit!}.

Speaking of gifts, I have just a little New Year's gift for you.  Now, I know I may be a little early with these but I want you to have plenty of time to print them out.  New Year's really isn't too far away!  I made some New Year's  printables.  They would look perfect framed on your mantel or as a center piece for your munchies table during a New Year's party.

The first 8 x 10 can be used from year to year, and I like the empty space.  {Uncluttered, like I hope to be in the new year, ha!}

Download here.

The second 8 x 10 is about hope. I think the beginning of a new year is a time to reflect about what we hope to accomplish and set those goals. And although my husband and I are very blessed, I think about those who are in tough financial or other situations, and I think that the new year may be a hopeful time for them that things will get better.  It's always good to have hope! :-)

Download here.

The third print is a 5 x 7.

I hope you enjoy and get some use out of these printables!  Come back tomorrow for a scrapbooking challenge, freebies, and a link up party!
